I was born in Puerto Rico and raised in South Florida. In 1994, I moved to Dallas, TX to "play house" with my then-boyfriend, now-husband. We've been married 17 years and are the proud parents of three marvelous girls, ages 15, 9 and 6.
I worked in the Advertising/Marketing industry for several years before choosing to stay home to raise my children. A some-time student, marketing so-and-so and freelance writer/publisher, my articles and essays have been published on Preconception.com, iParentingAdoption.com, ConnectforKids.com, Babyzone.com and in Pregnancy and InFertility Times magazines. I am also the independent author of the books “Twice Blessed: A Diary of Secondary Infertility” and "Through the Viewfinder ABC's."
My photographs have traveled to Ireland and Italy. Locally, I've participated in several group art shows. My Through the Viewfinder work was featured on NPR's photography blog and my "In Her Shoes" series was featured in the Summer 2011 issue of Square Magazine. Last summer (2011) several paintings in my Dot Series hung in a delightful tea house in Paris, France. They are currently showing at Cafe Lago in Dallas, TX.
My passions in life are my family and creative expression, equally, because they complement each other so gorgeously.
For me, home is definitely where the (he)art is.
